The vacation rentals industry is vibrant and rather new. There are no standards to gage the quality of holiday rentals that guest want to rent; nor does the rental agreement contract indicate the quality. Today there are as many agreement contracts as there are vacation rentals. Most contracts have the same core articles.

 

 

 

Each of the owners has their own policies to regulate their holiday rentals. Guests renting vacation rentals should feel comfortable with the contract that they sign and with the owner that they rent from.

 

It is advised that you spend time analyzing the proposed contract in order to fully understand the rights and holiday rentals will be resolved using the contract which is signed by both parties. Your contract becomes your law. Judges and credit cards companies (in case of charge backs) will analyze vacation rentals agreements and all contractual documents to determine which side they will favor.
