The Papaya of Lemontree Oceanfront Cottages has a huge beachfront verandah, tropically furnished living room and dining room, completely equipped kitchen, ceiling fans throughout, AC in bedrooms, and Wi-Fi. Art glass lighting, local artist paintings, photographs and paper mache artworks add to the tropical ambiance. The large flat screen TV with premium cable and DVD player will let you watch that big game or a fun movie. The grounds abound with tropical flowers and palms to delight the senses.
With direct access to the beach, since The Papaya is directly beachfront, your main activity will be watching the waves and pelicans diving for fish! The Papaya is located on the calm, warm Caribbean side of town, perfect for swimming, and where even youngsters enjoy the water.
Rincon, Puerto Rico is a small, relaxed beach town where all you need are a t-shirt and shorts, your bathing suit and sandals. With an abundance of restaurants, for all tastes and pocketbooks, you’ll have fun trying the range of taste treats from Puerto Rican, to Italian, to Asian Fusion, to Seafood, to BBQ, to Continental to fast food.
For a fun day, enjoy snorkeling, scuba diving, fishing, beach walking, and swimming. Go out with Taino Divers to Desecheo Island for a great day of snorkeling or diving. Its also fun to beachcomb for shells and tumbled sea glass that wash up on our shores. As Puerto Rico is a small island, nothing is very far away and all of the sites on the west coast of the island are an easy drive. Visit the Camuy caves, bioluminescent bay, Gilligan’s Island, Arecibo Observatory, or zoo in Mayaguez, known around the world for its tropical animals and plants.
