The first most visited attraction in Barcelona is the “Sagrada Familia“, a huge temple designed by the master Antoni Gaudi. Construction began in 1882 and it is still almost 80 years before it was completed. Some love it, others hate it, but whatever your opinion may be, you will have a strong reaction when you see it. Sagrada Familia Opening hours: 09h00-18h00 (from October to March) 09h00-20h00 (from April to September) 9:00 - 14:00 (December 25 and 26, January 1 and 6). The Barcelona Aquarium with more than one million visitors a year is a famous attraction in Barcelona and is entertainment for all ages. It is located in the old port of Barcelona, Port Vell.
« El Poble Espanyol de Montjuïc » is a replica of a small village with very different neighborhoods each representing the architectures of Spain’s regions. This building was once called the Casa Mila, but today, is mostly known as La Pedrera. Gaudi used great ingenuity to build this building. The curves and colored ceramics are once again a clear sign of its passage. Hours: November-February: 09h00-18h30, from March to October: 09h00-20h00. Admission: 9,50 Euros.
The Barcelona Zoo is located in the Parc de la Ciutadella. The best way to get there is to enter the park and to follow the signs that indicate where the zoo is. This zoo displays a large variety of animals, a restaurant, picnic area, shops, electric carts and ponies.
