Welcome to the Owl's Nest located in the prestigious resort of Wolf Laurel, 25 miles north of Asheville. Experience cool, crisp air on a perfect summer evening in this beautiful, mountain home in the sky with an elevation of 4490 feet above sea level.
Wolf Laurel is a gated resort with 91 miles of interior roads to explore including exclusive access to Bald Mountain. The Appalacian Trail runs through the resort and its private access is avaliable to our guest. Explore the many trails and waterfalls on site as well as bird watching and veiwing wild life. This is one of natures unspoiled areas.
Enjoy golfing on site at one of the best golf courses in North Carolina, take a dip in the pool or participate in the activites offered by the Village on site. There are stables on site as well for horseback riding on the Trail. There is so much to do you'll never want to leave the resort!
Come for the golfing, the tranquillity and beauty, the beautiful fall colors, and the wonderful activities in the area. Great whitewater rafting on the Nolichucky, Nantahala, and French Broad Rivers. Just north of Asheville, about 100 miles to Cherokee, North Carolina and the new Harrah's Casino. We are also near the Blue Ridge Parkway.
