This charming medieval Villa, positioned in the panoramic Upper Tiber Valley amidst the picturesque Tuscan landscape bordering Umbria, dates back to the 13th century, has been recently carefully restored and transformed into a warm and refined Country Farmhouse. While many of the original features have been preserved, the Villa is furnished with all the modern conveniences including Wireless Internet connection for your laptop. Location: Torre del Guado is 3 kms from Sansepolcro, a medieval town situated in Upper Tiber Valley, and 30 kms from Arezzo, not far from Cortona and Siena, on the edge of the Chianti wine region and of Umbria. The villa’s convenient location will allow you to easily reach the main art cities including Assisi and Urbino, Perugia and Pisa, Trasimeno Lake, Florence, Rome, ..). They are all a day-trip away and easily accessible through the near E45 speedway, at only 4 kms from the villa, and A1 highway 32 kms far. The area: This corner of Tuscany, on the Eastern border with Umbrian, is perfect for those seeking to enjoy stunning views, warm and welcoming people, and fantastic food. History awaits everywhere.
