Description:

SPECTACULAR DUPLEX 2 STOREY HOME WITH TERRACE

Nestled in a picturesque private passage set amongst arts and craft workshops, this two storey 60sq metre (645sq ft) home is just a few steps from the heart of the Marais yet perfectly shielded from the busy area all around it. It features Phillip Starck furniture, vivid paintings, polished glass, glossy black tiles and stainless steel appliances.

It also has one of the most fashionable addresses in Paris. The Marais is historic, charming and lively, with 17th century architecture, cobbled streets, vibrant day and night life, restaurants, bars, and happening boutiques.

The entrance to the house opens on to a large living area comfortably furnished with black leather sofa and decorated with modern and antique artwork. The dining section is furnished with a Phillip Starck signed glass table and Perspex chairs and the modern and stylish open plan kitchen comes complete with dishwasher, washer dryer, large fridge and induction electric burners - all in a stainless steel finish.

Upstairs you reach the den come office which overlooks the greenery of the private terrace. Equipped with a desk, TV, stereo, telephone and computer with high speed internet connection, the room is transformed into an additional sleeping area when the sofa bed is opened out.

The main open plan bedroom is reached through an arched doorway separated by curtains and has French windows leading out to the terrace. The bed is queen size (160cm wide) and there is a huge closet recessed into the wall.

The ?spa room? has a walk-in round shower, entirely glazed in black tiles, and is powered by an oversized shower head as well as a ?regular? shower attachment. A splendid wash basin straight out of an Interiors magazine crowns this luxurious ?salle d?eau?.

The terrace enveloped in its coat of green plants overlooks the private passage and has ample room to lounge around in, dine or breakfast.

Maison a Paris is located between the boutiques and shopping of les Halles, Rue Montorgueil?s wonderful open air food market and the Museum of Modern Art at the Pompidou Centre. It is close to all the centres of interest in Paris. Just a few minutes from the Louvres, Champs Elysees, St Germain, Musee d?Osay, the Seine and Notre Dame, this fabulous house offers you a taste of true Parisian luxury.
