It is a five to ten minute downhill walk to the shops, restaurants, bank and ATM of Lungern and a ten to fifteen minute walk to the lakeshore for swimming, boating, fishing, tennis and mini-golf. The cable-car station at Obsee, which is only fifteen minutes away, provides half-hourly gondola service to alpine heights.
