Cable House is renovated to the highest standard. Just off the famous Ring of Kerry, there is so much to see and do on the Island and surrounding area that one trip is never enough, everyone returns again and again!! From Dinosaur footprints to Glanleam's Tropical Gardens to a beautiful safe rocky beach (ideal for crab fishing) 10 steps away, not to mention a fabulous trip to Skellig Rock (a World Heritage Site) this is really one of Kerry's best kept secrets. At the moment Cable House sleeps 9 (+ 2) comfortably - 2 Double Rooms - 2 Twin Rooms - 1 Single Room and there is also a Sofa bed which would sleep 2 people. A cot and a high chair. The house is 2000 sq ft with large garden so there is plenty of space for everyone! Just to mention also, the island is incredibly safe for children with wonderful restaurants and pubs within easy reach. The beach is just 10 steps in front of the house and it is very safe to swim there. There is a supermarket in the next village, Chapeltown, and also a well stocked corner shop in the village which is a 5 minute walk from the house. Cahirciveen is the main town, there is a ferry service during the summer which is a 5 minute crossing to Cahirciveen. Otherwise it is possible to travel down to the bridge at Portmagee and travel to the mainland that way. (Travel time 20 mins).
